A small excursion on the subject of children's ability to concentrate. The older, the longer the kids can concentrate. In children between the ages of 4 and 7, studies indicate that the figure of 15 minutes can be expected. For 7-10 year olds it should be about 20 minutes and for 10-12 year olds about 25 minutes.

An outdoor excursion with the little ones is the best way to spend family time together. However, many children on the bike are still unsafe or only manage short distances. Even with parents, the fear is sometimes great, especially in the vicinity of busy roads, if a bike tour is planned. The Swiss invention turns two bicycles into a tandem for young and old in just four simple steps. Thanks to followme , your whole family is always safe to cycle to have fun together.

Your child is tired, unfocused or the traffic situation too unsafe to let the little one continue on his own? The followme tandem clutch turns your bikes into a parent-child tandem in just a few minutes, so that the tour can continue! You do not need any tools or a great deal of effort. The tandem clutch can also be mounted in combination with all 26- to 28-inch adult bikes with rear suspension (Fully) or on e-bikes. Suitable for all common children's bikes from 12 inches to 20 inches. The solution is officially approved for road traffic and TüV-tested - even test winner at the Stiftung Warentest! Once mounted, the mounting adapters remain permanently on your bikes. The universally matching clamp on the undertube of the child wheel and the axle adapters on the parent velo together form the fixing points of the tandem coupling. The assembly and dismantling is easy and in no time.

Even if you don't take your child on the journey, the clutch doesn't have to be completely removed from the bike. The followme tandem clutch can be easily folded in and attached to the luggage rack or saddle using a carabiner hook. With the low weight of four kilograms, the stay on the bike does not disturb any further. Even with more luggage, you always have your tandem clutch with you! Because luggage racks and even the installation of a child seat are no problem with the coupling. The combination of adult and children's bikes at axle height does not negatively affect the driving behaviour. Your child's bike will grow with him – and the tandem clutch will grow with it. The clever parent-child tandem clutch accommodates children's bikes with a wheel diameter of 12 to 20 inches. Here is a summary of the technical data:

Train velos with wheel nuts need the Volach adapters

If the parent velo has a wheel nut (instead of quick release) on the rear axle - you need the appropriate volach adapters:

Vollachs adapter M10 x 1 (for Rohloff circuits, hub sleds from SRAM I-Motion and most vollachs chain circuits)
Vollachsadapter M12 x 1.25 (mostly for Stromer e-bikes)
Vollachs adapter 3/8 inches (Shimano hub gears, Alfine and Nexus e.B. for SAXONETTE E-Bike and many other models)
Vollachsadapter M12 x 1.25 (for some other models - Bike manufacturer request)
Hub switch adapter SRAM (for hub gears with click box and SRAM)

To the children's bikes with quick release in front, Early Rider and WoomBikes you need adapters

A little thing - and it works.

And that's the 14" and 16" Early Rider and the WoomBikes are equipped with a hollow axle - that's why you need the matching adapters which can be screwed in - buy here right here - the M6 axle extension for the Early Rider and the Woom Bikes

For bikes which do not carry an M6 screw into the hollow axle, but which has been equipped Children Bike front with a quick release - this axle extension is required for Children Bike with quick release (which also fits for the Early Rider - but if always available, we recommend the M6 for the Early Rider).

Die Verarbeitung ist sehr gut und massiv gebaut. Das montieren der Vorrichtung benötigt seine Zeit und ein gewisses handwerkliches geschick.

Montag nimmt etwas Zeit in Abspruch. Der bestehende Gepäckträger musste angepasst werden (Distanz) damit das Followme montiert werden konnte. Es ist aber sehr solide und massiv verarbeitet. Die erste Testfahrt verlief gut.

Erste montage nochli kompliziert, bis mann kapiert wie soll die höhe einstellen. Dann ist aber die Followme am besste produkt von Tandemkupplung welche gibt's.

Wir sind sehr zufrieden mit dem Produkt, vor allem bekommt man bei Frezzo auch gleich noch alle Informationen zu Zusatzprodukte, welche notwendig sind (Kindervelo Early Rider). Mein Mann konnte es ohne grosser Aufwand montieren. Ich war nur erstaunt wie schwer mein Fahrrad nun ist, dies habe ich nicht einberechnet.

Einfach ein perfektes Zwischenstück für unsere Velofahrten. Wir hatten es vor Ort in unseren Ferien abgeholt und konnten es sogleich testen. Es ist einfach eine geniale Erfindung und erleichtert die Veloausflüge und v.a. die Sicherheit extrem. Hier sind Profis mit Herzblut am Werk - das ist spürbar und sehr sympathisch :-).

Produkt eher teuer, Qualität einwandfrei. Aufbau braucht diverse Werkzeuge und viel Zeit. Sobald das FollowMe aber montiert ist, tolles Fahrvergnügen!

Einfach nur cool. Die Montage verlief reibungslos. Die Bedienunsanleitung ist verständlich. Nicht so gut gelöst finde ich das man das Metalband noch kürzen muss, da hätte ich dann aber den Tip mit dem umknikken in einem Montagevideo gesen. Das klappt besser. Die erst Fahrt haben wir schon gemacht. Absolut gutes und stabiles Fahrverhalten. Velo- Spass- Garantie für die ganze Family!

Die Montage dauert bei einer ungeübten Person länger als 40 Minuten (nicht wie im Video angesagt) und verlangt Geduld und einiges an Werkzeug wie passende Gabelschlüssel, Blechschere und evt. einen Rätschensatz. Im Einsatz ist der Follow Me top und eine unbeschwerte Velotour für Gross und Klein.
