Since some stunt scooters are set up differently, you should first consult the operating instructions. Here we describe the general procedure and point out a few tips for correct assembly. As with everything, correct assembly of the stunt scooter is the be-all and end-all for the load in the pipe
When mounting the handlebars (technically known as the T-bar), make sure that you:
- First loosen the clamp completely
- Put the handlebars (T-bar) at the correct angle to the fork, which is usually silver, all the way down. Make sure that the slot in the handlebars runs parallel to the slot in the fork
- Tighten the clamp firmly with the bolts supplied so that the handlebars no longer have any play and do not move
Before the first ride, check that the brakes are working properly, that the handlebars are securely fastened (as shown above) and that the wheels or castors are securely fastened and rolling well
